Diavolo had been having problems for a couple of days now, which culminated in the suicide of Diavolo's don on Charisma's don, without appointing a valid successor.
Charisma can't take revenge on Diavolo because those are down already, so they attack and kill Diavolo's sisterfamily, Perestroika.

Lexxi (Charisma sotto): After the lame Diavolo brug suicided on my don (Gizzmoo) and didn't leave a successor for his family.. which was lame.. we organized action against the sister family Perestoika.. I'm tired of suiciders getting away with anything they want.. It's like ahh rip lame sorry you died.. The families need to be held responsable. Especially when its don vs don. I'm proud to have served and died for Charisma..Gizzmoo was our cause.
