Ofc I get what you mean, but Ajax was lucky in the old days that they had more money to make the club how it's now... they could provide better equipment and stuff, so the youth came + the possibility to afford more salary as the other clubs made the name Ajax world wide. In the end all clubs that are big now where just lucky to have a more money since the start and that's how they made their name. Not to mention that the only reason some clubs are on top is because they have millions and millions of Euro in debt and nobody cares :D

Ajax has been and still is one of the best clubs in the world. In the 70's they won the champions league three times in a row... you think they made MILLIONS with that? back in the 70's a couple 100 thousands was allot of money
furthermore the whole team was dutch..
ajax school has been well known everywhere and most people agree that ajax has one of the best youth departments in the world.
Little kids with potential, 12, 13, 14, 15 year old, get bought away from .nl youth departments because clubs like real madrid, inter, manchester city/united can pay much more them.
how come they can pay more money?
here in .nl and in other "normal" countries who don't have a debt of 2352525352523 billions to the european banks dont allow the clubs to have debts
if ajax would have a debt of 1 single euro, it wont get a license for the comming year.. thus the football club would stop excist..
in shit countries where more then 60% of the youth don't have a job, for example.. hi spain.. it is very normal to have a debt of 500 million ( hi real madrid )
so they can attract the "better" players and pay a ridiculous ammount of money.
if i look at how the dutch clubs played last season on an european level, clubs from italy, spain and england should be ashamed of themself.
fact is.. ajax still has one of the best youth departments of the world, and for the ammount of money dutch clubs can invest they do it way and way better then other european countries.
its only sad that the UEFA still allows clubs to play with a debt of millions and millions of euro's.
in spain the IRS still gets several hundreds of millions from the spannish football clubs. i believe they now agreed that all the cash who they get from the TV rights in the comming season all go to the IRS directly.
Also its a sad fact, when some spannish clubs "buy" players they don't even pay all the money. for example Genk, a belgium football club is still waiting on the money from 3 players they sold last season.
Or they buy expensive players and cant pay their salary. i can recall that royston drenthe refused to play anymore for malaga? because he didnt recieved a single penny for months.
i rly hope the UEFA wont allow clubs to play european football if they have a debt.

first they lost vs real madrid because 2 clear goals got cancelled.

I'm sure you and other Ajax supporters say Eriksen is Ajax youth, when in fact he was in their youth squad for something like 6 months before making his debut. You buy players from other clubs now, and you have done it for decades. That's what money can do.
