The little brother and Ruigerd [Roewie] were having some fun on irc, and out of boredom shot at Soars. Ruigerd shot down the swindler consig, and the Iliria member killed the LC don. So in fact it looked like the Iliria member killed a family that his own fam was protecting. Though he himself had nothing to do with it.
